Thank you for supporting our Girls on the Run SoleMate Charity Athletes!
Girls on the Run SoleMates is the charity running (or biking or whatever sport moves you!) component of Girls on the Run. SoleMates participants are individuals (women or men!) who complete athletic events while raising money for Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley.
By becoming a SoleMate, participants help bring Girls on the Run to more girls in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties by helping us keep costs as low as possible at all sites and helping us provide scholarships to girls in need.

ABOUT GIRLS ON THE RUN OF SILICON VALLEY:
Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization and an independent council of Girls on the Run International. All donations are tax-deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 01-0628076. Learn more at www.gotrsv.org.
We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grades. Each season, teams across Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties meet twice a week for 10 weeks to learn to celebrate their unique selves, honor their voices, recognize their gifts and activate their personal power. The season culminates in the annual Girls on the Run 5K, where girls accomplish a goal that for many once seemed impossible. At Girls on the Run, the finish line is just the beginning, as our ultimate goal is to provide the girls with tools and resources that develop their ability to think critically, a skill that will serve them well for a lifetime.
