Our Goal - $10,000
Girls on the Run is growing by leaps and bounds! In the past year alone, we have experienced amazing growth in the number of girls we serve! Our goal is $10,000 and will allow us to continue this kind of growth until we can reach as many girls in our area as possible. We invite you to join us by helping us financially to expand to more schools and offer scholarships to girls who otherwise would not be able to afford this transformational program.
Support us with a Recurring Donation
Join us in celebrating 17 years of GOTR in the Treasure Valley. In honor of our 17th birthday make a generous recurring donation of $17 a month for 12 months, allowing two Treasure Valley girls to participate in Girls on the Run in 2017. For a little more than the price of lunch each month, you can help these girls become stronger, healthier and empowered.
Girls on the Run Treasure Valley has given over 6,500 young girls in our area the tools they need to become stronger, healthier and empowered to reach any goal. We want to make sure that every girl who wants to be a GOTR girl is given that opportunity - even if their family can't afford the program. Our generous donors have provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to help these girls and you can help too!
Support us With a One Time Donation
If you choose a one time donation, your contribution will help girls in our area grow to become healthy, joyful and confident when you support Girls on the Run Treasure Valley. Girls on the Run is 10-week after-school program for girls in the 3rd through 5th grade and Hearth & Sole is our program for junior high students. Both programs help girls learn important “life lessons” while employing a fun running program that gets them prepared to do a non-competitive 5K at the end of the season. Girls on the Run Treasure Valley currently serves the girls of Ada, Canyon, and Elmore county and soon to be in Payette county!
Our core curriculum addresses many aspects of young “tween” girls’ development – their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. At Girls on the Run, the finish line is just the beginning, because our ultimate goal is to provide the girls with tools and resources that develop their ability to think critically - a skill that will serve them well for a lifetime.
