GOTR of Montgomery and Delaware Counties, Pa offers exciting internship opportunities! We offer an internship program allowing interns to be joyful, healthy and confident through experience-based learning, building professional, personal, and skills development in a non-profit work setting. GOTR Mont/Delco Interns will: Develop their skill set in a specific learning area Increase in self-awareness and confidence in the work place Contribute to furthering GOTR’s mission Gain knowledge of a non-profit work environment Be given leadership opportunities Possess a sense of ownership in their work Network with an accomplished, engaging group of women and men who have diverse professional backgrounds All interns will have a “Major” which will involve specific learning projects in the fields of Program & Education, Evaluation & Research, Development & Fundraising, Communications & Marketing, or Administration & Volunteerism. Additionally, interns will have a “Minor” of service-based learning as a coach/mentor on one or more of our teams and/or by serving in a leadership role for special events such as the Celebratory 5K. Interns will receive regular training and mentoring from GOTR Staff including one-on-one sessions, group meetings, Strengths Finder Assessment, and attending at least one meeting with the Board. Interns become part of the very fabric of GOTR's collaborative, fun-loving, mission-driven community. We believe interns should be actively incorporated into the work environment, providing meaningful work while being uniquely developed and strengthened in order to successfully launch into the work world beyond GOTR of Mont/Delco. Just as girls in our program gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment through running, we desire our interns to gain the same inner strength through their training and work experience with GOTR of Montgomery and Delaware Counties, Pa.
