Welcome to the Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan's site application! If you have not read our updated 2018 Guide to Starting a Site* please click here to review it before beginning the application process.
*Please note- there are changes in policies that are new to our sites and coaching details this year- we ask that returning sites read through in its entirety.
To complete this application, you must provide the following information:
- Each volunteer coach’s name, email and phone number (please have confirmation from the volunteer that he/she is able to commit to the season).
- School/Site location (address), phone number and principals' email
- Your confirmed Girls on the Run meeting days and times.
-Whether you will be utilizing the Girls on the Run (3rd-5th or 6th) or Heart & Sole (6th through 8th) curriculum.
We'll be excited to have you join us at the Site Leader Launch held on Wednesday, January 10th at 6:30pm (please plan to arrive by 6:15pm for check-in). This is a required event for our new Site Leaders, and 'strongly encouraged to attend' event for our returning leaders, to gather more information, marketing ideas and materials for promoting your site- all wrapped up in a pretty cute 31 bag for you to keep as well! Dinner and a Site Leader t-shirt will be provided for all of our Site Leaders along with the opportunity to win wonderful raffle prizes! The event will be held at the Ellen Thompson Women's Health Center, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital 5320 Elliott Dr, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.
