Season Dates: Our spring season starts the week of March 19th and the spring 5K will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at Miller Park.
Coach Training: One of the big goals of Girls on the Run International is to standardize our program across the country. We serve girls in all fifty states and want all girls to have the same experience in the program, regardless of where they live. One of GOTR's recent initiatives was to standardize coach training across the country and create a National Coach Training. The new coach training is very interactive and will give all our coaches a chance to practice their coaching skills, network with other coaches, and leave training feeling inspired and ready to coach their girls. The new coach training includes both an online component, followed by an in-person training. All new coaches are required to attend an in-person training. Within the next year, we ask that all coaches, including veteran coaches, attend an in-person training. If space allows, we'll open up this spring's training to veteran coaches. Veteran coaches will definitely be invited to attend an in-person training in Fall 2018 or Spring 2019. Even if you have many seasons of coaching under your belt, we're confident that you'll find this training beneficial.
