About This Event

Serving as a coach is one of the most rewarding ways to get involved with Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia. Our volunteer coaches lead their teams through the curriculum for Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole, stretching and running activities, and training for the end-of-season 5K. You do not need to be a runner or a competitive athlete. Successful coaches only need to serve as role models for girls by showing up prepared and on time, by listening attentively, and by demonstrating a positive attitude! This position works closely with the Girls on the Run of NOVA staff and requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per week for the 10 week season, with additional time required for the GOTR 5K race. We can’t do it without YOU!
